Your First Convo Will MAKE or BREAK The Candidate Journey

A lot of times we hear people say, “I lost this person here and I couldn't advance them to the next step. What's the hack to it? What can I do from here?”

And we'll always have a recommendation or two, but the most effective reminder is that the foundation wasn't laid in the initial first two conversations and the 'loss' is really just a symptom of an earlier issue.

If we really want to address it, the cause lies in how the initial Discovery Call & Advanced Consult were handled.

This is where a good script can be hugely beneficial.

Good scripting allows you to deliver your points and make progress towards your goal in a way that you could never do just winging it on your own.

Repeatedly, we hear over and over again from our clients, that the more they follow the script, the better their results are.

The reason being, the script has embedded in it so much framing and meaning that sets you up for success as you go through the process, that if you miss something or say something differently, not only do you miss the ability to advance the thing that we wanted you to advance with that part of the script, but oftentimes it actually has a counterproductive effect.
